Fox spun around as two of the group showed up. Then the weird... thing took her hand. Ahh! It was cold! Fox’s hand shied away, but she looked to see if this mind demon had a face. As she searched for a face, the girl seemed to become more tangible. Fox squinted her eyes. Yes... the girl was... beautiful. 

Fox blinked. “Your skeletons??”

Fox’s eyes snapped back to Fadran as he spoke. He probably thought she was crazy. This girl had to be another mind demon. “Uh-hum.... Fadran!?” Hopefully it would be taken as a delayed reaction

Jared's eyes glowed red as he harnessed the power of his Narrativium Cube.

Show me, he thought. 

Before his eyes, a warping appeared- showing where Winter had used Narrativium to bend reality and travel. It had left a mark, and from it Jared could clearly see the path that had been taken. 

Drawing on the power of Silence, he envisioned himself vanishing from the world- sending his soul down wherever that path would lead.

Reality warped once more as he followed on Winter's trail.

The trail stopped.. Winter stood, leaning against the wall of a deep, trash-covered alley in a city of brown and grey stone.

"Why are you following me?" he asked emotionlessly. "You have one chance to tell me. Make it quick, and please don't lie. Better hurry before I get bored and kill you."

Nya fell, terror eclipsing her mind.

She closed her eyes, reaching out desperately for something, anything familiar.

All of a sudden, she found something.

With a slight flash of red and a soft pop, she appeared behind @Channelknight Fadran , @DramaQueen and @Scarletfox.

Queen glanced toward Fadran. "You said you needed my powers to bring her back? Now would be a great time to explain why, and quickly. I don't think I would do very well at fighting off Winter if he shows up. I still don't know my powers very well, and I really don't want Winter getting into my head, which he probably could do with ease." She turned back to Fox. "We will get you back."

Queen had noticed the small surge of guilt that had flashed across Fox's face, and guessed the cause. She had seen Nath's wounds and recognized Fox's handiwork, but knew from Fox and Nath's interactions that it must not have been completely Fox's fault. Queen searched quickly for something to say to try to ease the remorse.

"You know," she said, laughing gently, "I don't think we would have been able to find you without Nath. Of course, I'm no expert on Fadran's powers--heck, I'm not even close to an expert on my own powers! But," she glanced toward Fadran, "I'm pretty sure he has to have a Spirit Bond with someone in order to track them. He didn't forge one with you, at least that I know of, but he does have one with Nath." Queen smiled at Fox, a comforting turn of the lips. "Your bond with Nath must be really strong if Fadran was able to find you through it. I'm not completely certain of what happened in Winter's mindscape earlier. I have some idea, but not much definitive. I'm not about to ask you about it, I can tell that it's too soon.

"However, I can also tell that, whatever happened, you and Nath bonded because of it, for better or worse. Your bond is certainly useful, but only you can decide if it was worth the hardships. If you decide that it was, there's no use dwelling on worries and regrets. It happened, and that's that. If not...there's still no use focusing on the bad things. As far as I know, none of us have time travel powers, and even if we did, it would become really tedious to keep writing the same scene over and over again." Queen shook her head in confusion. What the heck was that sentence? Writing? Scene?! "I mean, experiencing the same thing over and over. So, either way, you need to move on from whatever may have happened. That's some advice from myself that I need to follow, too." Queen forced herself not to let her eyes flicker over to Fadran, focusing on Fox.

"Now, let's get out of here. Whatever way Fadran plans to get us out."

Thisw as going to drive her insane. Relief began to resurface when Queen didn't get angry. Yes, she couldn't know, otherwise she would be yelling at Fox right now. Unless this was a trap... Fox would just have to trust Nath's judgement on this person. "Yes, let's..."
