A brief bit about myself, i'm an avid Fantasy reader and nothing pleases me more than quality world-building. LOTR is king in my eyes, but after reading 4 of Sandersons books I realize i'm in for quite the ride. Excited to dive into the Cosmere, just wrapped up Mistborn 1-3 and Alloy of Law. Trying to determine what direction to head next...

Welcome! Once you've read The Bands of Mourning, I'd recommend reading Mistborn: Secret History.

Ah but what comes before the Bands of Mourning? From the forums I've read it sounds like Secret History should come almost last. I haven't got to Stormlight yet, my current debate is either Elantris, Emperors Soul, or starting Stormlight books. Though I think I want to figure out the dynamics of the Cosmere before jumping into Stormlight and it sounds like Elantris and/or Emperors Soul are a good way to do that.

I would highly recommend that you read Warbreaker before The Way of Kings.

Elantris and The Emperor's Soul are a good start.
