Allomantic Duralumin and Aluminum Uses

On it's own Allomantic Duralumin and Aluminum have no obvious uses, but I think that with other magic systems they could have some use. Duralumin according to this WOB already works with Stormlight

I think that Duralumin and by extension Aluminum work with all magic systems. Duralumin gives you a major burst in power of that magic systems' investiture while Aluminum wipes that magic systems' investiture. If this is true then Duralumin has an interesting interaction with Feruchemy in that you might be able to compound with any metal using this or at least gain a brief time of extra strength. Aluminum on the other hand could be used to wipe any bad investiture from you. If there is a way to place some harmful investiture in some one (think a curse or something) you might be able to burn aluminum to remove that investiture.

We already know that A-Aluminum can theoretically cleanse the spiritweb of unwanted Investiture and A-Aluminum would be more effective than F-Gold in reversing the effect of Shade withering. It could probably be used defensively to counter certain forms of magic like Lashings, which affect one's Spiritual bond to the planet. Depending on what you're thinking of by 'harmful Investiture' that may be possible (see the Shade thing) but permanent changes to the Spiritweb such as Savantism or the Nightwatcher's boon/curse would presumably resist A-Aluminum the same way they do F-Gold or other healing magics. As far as the magic is concerned, that's now your 'natural' state so there's nothing to cleanse/heal. Hemalurgy's another example where we know this wouldn't work, it may be a short-circuit of sorts and not truly a permanent part of your spiritweb but it's still seen as part of it so long as the spike is in, so A-Aluminum won't affect it.

Technically you can signal. A Seekercan hear you. So you can transmit messages. Useful on a gambling table.

That's an interesting thought; I hadn't thought of that application.
