The people involved in the Castlevania show on Netflix would be a perfect fit for adapting the books, imo. Well mainly the artists- the 3rd season has some incredibly painted scenes. Idk how I feel about the writing in the second two seasons but the first had me quite hooked. This just seems like an actually tangible avenue.

Animated Cosmere would be better. Have you seen anime action scenes? Live action CGI would be costly, so much content would be cut...

I have said this a billion times but yes yes yes to an animated cosmere adaptation. It probably won’t happen, sadly, but I feel that in some respects, fantasy in general is suited to animation a lot more than live action.

I think a full mix of live action and animated like what Star Wars does is extremely viable.

Have Mistborn be the mainstay (or movie, television show, movie for Era 1 that Sanderson plans, and then television show for Era 2). Warbreaker can work as a live action movie almost as well as it could for an animated one (although for this one, you better go above and beyond on the colors!). Stormlight and White Sand are the animated shows, and Arcanum Unbounded could then be the anthology show with 5-6 episodes per season, all dedicated on a specific novella.

The only books that are viable for live action are the less active forms of magic. Such as Aons or Awakening.

Everything would have to be animated otherwise certain things would look weird. (Like lashing or pushing and pulling in the air.)
