TrдVψLшR 0115 he/him Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 (edited) I was listening to the most recent shardcast, and I started to wonder if anyone has made a chart or anything that you could follow if you wanted to read the books in chronological order. It would be cool if you could even stop at 1 half of well of ascension and read emperor’s soul or something weird like that. But I really doubt the timeline is going to be that precise. Frustration Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 Knowing Brandon, somewhere there is a timeline down to the word. So who wants to join the crew that's going to, eh, borrow it. 1

Karger he/him Posted April 3, 2020 Posted April 3, 2020 Ka(her Rosharan name) almost certainly has that. I suppose you could use one of our in world time lines and we could work through a reading order for you if you like.
TrдVψLшR 0115 he/him Posted April 3, 2020 Author Posted April 3, 2020 (edited) Oh I just read he intentionally doesn’t canonize the exact timeline so I guess that answers that question! This is on the coppermind though. A rough chronological ordering of current cosmere works is: White Sand[131] Elantris and The Hope of Elantris The Emperor's Soul[132] Mistborn Era 1 Warbreaker[133] Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell[134][135] The Stormlight Archive (books 1 through 5)[136] Mistborn Era 2[102][136] The Stormlight Archive (books 6 through 10)[136] Arcanum Unbounded essays[137] Sixth of the Dusk, which is in the age of Era 4 Mistborn books, the science fiction trilogy[138] Dragonsteel will be the beginning, before the Shattering. Mistborn Era 4, the sci-fi trilogy is at the end.[98] Nightblood, the Warbreaker sequel, will be set closer to Warbreaker than Stormlight Archive.[139] Edited April 3, 2020 by TrдVψLшR 0115
