I write to you seeking answers about the mysteries of Cosmere like a worldbringer of old. My Name is Killuthion.

I am a Human originally from Scadrial and Twinborn of a strange variety. A Spinner Ferring and a Leecher Misting. This gives me the ability to compound Fortune which has served me well over the years. I write to you of the 17th Shard from the Rosharan System. As I look out over land from the Tower at Urithriu I am struck by the majesty of this world. Harmony this world is intimidating! Khriss tells me that my compounding of fortune reminds her of a fellow named Hoid. I have never met the man and hope to one day. My Fortune took me on some strang twists and turns these last years. I had almost lost faith in my power after I was sold to the Bridge Crews as a slave, but it turns out to have set me on the path of Radiance. My study of this world has lead me to become embedded in its fate. Harmony only knows where this will lead.

your new friend,

Killuthion

Welcome to the shard @Killuthion. Indeed, Roshar is a place of marvel in the cosmere. You have spoken to Khriss? I have not seen her in a very long time. I believe she has been eluding me.

The shard indeed has much knowledge of the cosmere, if you know where to look. I wish you best of luck, but I suppose you have that in plenty.

Dear, @ToaCalune

Thank you for the warm welcome. It has been some time since a letter made me laugh aloud. Surprisingly no one has made that joke before.

As for Khriss I made her acquaintance years ago at a ball I attended in one of the outer cities of the Elendel Basin on my home planet of Scadrial. She was in a rush but gave me an address to seek her out in Elendel City. When I travelled there I traded her the secrets of my abilities for the secrets of the Cosmere. Personally I think i got the better end of the deal. She Told me of your group and let slip the existence of Roshar in a off handed comment concerning the misfortune the planet is suffering. My power is a thing of instinct and this comment set that instinct ablaze. So I set out against her advice on my journey. I never thought that a man could get sea sick on a ocean of Mist but I can confirm that it is very possible.

The strange ship I hired to cross the mists was supposedly lined with Aluminum on its hull. The captain made a strange joke about something call Corpse-craft. When pressed he only said that it was a outdated method of shipbuilding that hasn't been common since before the Catacendre. I hope that you will tell me more of yourself. My official question is posted to the address simply call Questions about the Cosmere.

Dear @Killuthion,

I write to you to extend a hand of friendship. If you are seeking knowledge then you have come to the right place. There are many of us here who would be more than happy to answer your questions.

I feel I must give you a warning. There is an awakened sword on Roshar currently. I fear that if you run afoul of it no amount of fortune will be able to save you.

Best regards,

@Killuthion

What is your favorite cosmere book and why? And magic system?

Posted

@GoWibble Thats hard but I have to say Oathbringer because of its amazing pacing and wonderfully tragic and epic moments. From the death of the King to the Story of Dalenars Journey. It maintains a personal and edge of your seat feel while also providing a wonderful amount of mystery and lore about the greater cosmere.

Also the planet is so creative and unique

The magic of Surge binding is Amazing because of how it links personal character growth directly to the investiture.

Dear @Emerald_Mage

I am not familiar with the arts of Nalthis but i have seen the Shin man in white guarding the high prince's room. He does carry a blade matching your description.

I wander if that sheath is Aluminum or some alloy. Would my powers as a Leacher come in handy against such a weapon?

Welcome, @Killuthion! I am sure that you find many allies here of similar mind, and perhaps you will use your extensive knowledge to continue to aid us in spreading the lore of the Cosmere far and wide.

Dear @Killuthion,

In your earlier correspondence, you said the following,

While I can confirm that the sheath is aluminum, I doubt that your Allomantic power will have much effect at all. Of course, I am not the most knowledgable in this field so you may wish to write to some other members of the shard.

Greetings those of the 17th I have recently learned of the dramatic events that came to pass during the battle of Thaylan City. I refer to the powers displayed by Dalenar Colin that opened a perpendicularity. I ask you of the shard to answer this question. Is Dalenar a sliver of honor as the lord ruler of old was a sliver of preservation. This Spren called Storm Father that he has bonded appears to be a similar entity to the Surviver during his short time as preservation. Could the Bond be strong enough to recombine the broken splinters of Honor.

The Stormfather is a cognitive shadow and Dalenar is a physical body but will the power of Honor ever recombine. If it does what could this suggest about the greater cosmere.

Or could it never be healed.

This worlds conflict makes me fear for Harmony.

The nature of these Shard blades seems to suggest that Honor has invested a vast amount of himself in the metal of these so call shard blade and shard plate. Not to mention the Honor blades which seem to hold the majority of Honors power. Tell me this How can Preservation only produce so little Lasarium and even Ruin did not have so much Atium as this Rosharan have "shards".

Any advice would be appreciated on the topics I have mentioned.

Your's,

Killuthion Worldbringer of the Cosmere
