Hi everyone - I'm new to the cosmere, having only read the Mistborn Trilogy and first two books in the Stormlight Archive.  I'm blown away by Sanderson's intricate story telling. I just experienced the most confusing conversation wtih a friend who thought I'd signed up on this site as Yashidara.  That wasn't me, but I'm curious to see if he figures out this new account is me.  Apparently, I need to mention the Aether transcript, though I don't even know what that is.  ;)  - Leiliel

You can request that from the Aether of the night subthread.  It is an unedited unpublished work by Brandon.

I came into the cosmere with the mistborn trilogy, along with the stormlight archive too! I advise you look at the cosmere acronyms  topic in the cosmere forum. Also, I advise you read oathbringer at some point this year, because the next book is going to come out in November! :)

also, who is your favorite character in any of Brandon’s books so far?

I second that suggestion! Delightful characters, incredible magic system, beautiful worldbuilding, fantastic storytelling - you can't go wrong with Warbreaker!

Thank you for the warm welcome, everyone!  I was hoping to be able to reply to individual comments but can't find a way to.  Hmm... Anyhow, I did read Warbreaker this week.  I thorougly enjoyed it and I have more context for the arrival of the sword at the end of Words of Radiance.  ;) I also really appreciate recommendations for other threads to check-out.  Finally, I think my favorite character so far is Shallan.  Though I really enjoy Hoid, as well, and OreSeur has a special place in my heart.

That's good to hear! OreSeur is sadly underappreciated, especially compared to TenSoon.

You can't reply to individual comments like on Reddit, but you can quote the person you are interested in replying to. Or you can @ them, like @Leiliel

Welcome Friend! It's good to have you on the Shard. Also - WOW, that was a wicked fast read of Warbreaker! And yes, OreSeur is beloved by too few.
