Pros: How does it benefit society and individuals? Cons: How does it negatively affect society and individuals? How?: What do we know about it's inner workings? Example Pro: Stormlight heals. Con: Is a limited resource. Can only be gathered in a Highstorm How: Is Inhaled by Surgebinder. I'm going to compile these facts and opinions into groups for ease of archiving. Adhesion The Surge of pressure and vacuum -can bond different substances together ( basically it acts as investiture glue in this instance ). Gravitation The Surge of gravity -allows the user to re-orientate their gravitational pull. Division The Surge of destruction and decay -that's about all i know Abrasion The Surge of friction -can increase/decrease the friction a object has with it's surroundings. Progression The Surge of growth and healing, or regrowth -Can heal others. bringing them back from apparent death Illumination The Surge of light, sound and various waveforms -can create illusions. -illusions are able to be 'placed' ( better word? ) on a spren that is holding stormlight. Transformation The Surge of soulcasting -allows the surgebinder to transform one substance into another substance. -the more complex the substance the more difficult the change is to enact. Transportation The surge of motion and realmatic transition -can get the user in and out of the cognitive realm Cohesion The surge of strong axial interconnection -that's about all i know Tension The Surge of weak axial interconnection -that's about all i know Edit: well, now that I'm no longer suicidal ( statement of fact. not a plea for attention. *sigh* people usually assume it's a plea for attention but no, my every living moment entails thoughts of suicide.
