BreathTaker he/him Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 So while standing at a huge concert I went to last weekend I saw many different rock band t-shirts and thought to myself... "Knights Radiant shirts". Immediately I told my wife about it and we came up with something awesome. On the front of the shirt have whichever KR glyph you choose in the Order's corresponding color and have the matching oaths written down the back. I know we don't know all of the Oaths yet but THINK about it. Wouldn't this be awesome? Also, shirts with different characters represented on the back (still with KR glyph on front) For example: WindRunner: "THE WIND IS MINE!" EdgeDancer: "I'm Awesome" SkyBreaker:"I AM TRUTHLESS" and so on. 5
Kurkistan he/him Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 A cool idea for the store going forward, I suppose. I think the more basic glypth/oath combo might be more classy, though. 1
BreathTaker he/him Posted May 29, 2014 Author Posted May 29, 2014 I agree, other ideas or coming to me in the haze of about 8 hours of sleep... in the past week. 1
Kobold King he/him Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I WANT STORMLIGHT BOBBLEHEADS. MAKE IT HAPPEN, TEAM SANDERSON. 4
Left he/him Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I want a duster with the allomantic steel symbol on the back. 4
TheArcanist he/him Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Replicas of Cosmere weapons. Who wants a copy of a Shardblade or of Nightblood? Better yet- replica metalminds. Wearable jewlery marked with the appropriate Feruchemical symbol. Even better, one of those "ion bands" done up to look like a pewtermind. 4
BreathTaker he/him Posted May 29, 2014 Author Posted May 29, 2014 Storms yes, I actually have a costume sword that looks like a mini version of OathBringer.
Terisen he/him Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 I want the guy who does the Man at Arms series on YouTube to do a replica of a shardblade. Heck, he's already done Cloud's Buster Sword. He needs to do another friggin' huge sword.
Surgebound Rainspren he/him Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 I want a mini magnetic szeth so I can stick things to him 5
navybrandt he/him Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 If you haven't seen it yet... http://www.tor.com/blogs/2014/04/crafting-a-shardblade-for-brandon-sanderson 9
BreathTaker he/him Posted May 30, 2014 Author Posted May 30, 2014 I pictured Oathbringer differently, more like the illustration in WoR with what I assumed was OB and Adolin's sword.
TheArcanist he/him Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 I pictured it a different colour, but from the description, this is a dead ringer for Oathbringer.
navybrandt he/him Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 It's supposed to have the smokey transparency like when it cuts.
navybrandt he/him Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 My favorite line from the article... "Have fun lugging it around for 5 days while you bond with it!" 3
ollie99 she/her Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 I really like the Szeth tee in the Sanderson store and I agree that T-shirts with the glyph and oath would be a great addition. I would also like to see t-shirts or posters with the allomatic metal table, and with the surgebinding diagram. And well done to that super fan. That sword is absolutely amazing! 1
Fifth of Daybreak he/him Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Brandon needs to publish the Diagram. In multiple volumes. I'd buy every single one. The Book of the Second Desk Drawer Coda of the Northwest Bottom Corner Catechism of the Back of the Flowered Painting Tenets of Instruction, Back of the Footboard Book of the Second Ceiling Rotation Writings upon the bedstand lamp North Wall Coda, Windowsill Region If he published some of them as actual objects, he can have all my money. 8
Chrono she/her Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I'd kinda like a copy of the actual Way of Kings, translated into english, of course. It'd be fascinating to read the entire thing. As for other stuff, I really want a T-shirt with Pattern on it, as well as high quality posters of each Shardblade mentioned so far (since they are all unique, it would be quite a collection).
BreathTaker he/him Posted June 3, 2014 Author Posted June 3, 2014 And it would help with my crafting of a shardblade for PhoenixCon next year.
Fatebreaker he/him Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I want Wayne's ward against logic so that I can add two and two and get a pickle 3
Baine he/him Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 And slip it to a teacher. Then sit back and laugh.
Delightful Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I want Wayne's ward against logic so that I can add two and two and get a pickle And slip it to a teacher. Then sit back and laugh. Well yes, your teacher would indeed be in a pickle if they have trouble adding 2 and 2.
