Do we have any info on the size of spheres? I always imagine them as being ping-pong ball size, but it seems that they would be smaller, like marbles or so.

Thanks in advance!

Hey, what’s up. Here is a wob:

Questioner

How big are the beads from Shadesmar?

Brandon Sanderson

...Bean-size, not as big as spheres.

Questioner

Spheres are the size of your thumbnail, right?

Brandon Sanderson

Spheres are a little bigger than that. They're like a big marble. Not quite as big as a shooter

Depends what you mean.  If you mean spheres as in currency the coppermind article has the official measurements in both mass and diameter.  If you mean in shadesmar's sea of spheres the the WoB above is correct.

My understanding is that that chart is measuring the gemstone inside the sphere. If your referring to the actual glass bead a largish marble is the best descruption we have.

Your understanding is correct but you should probably quote the questioner not me in this case.
