Snake Eyes Productions_YT he/him Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 Skyward finishing book reactions and other discussion
Snake Eyes Productions_YT he/him Posted September 29, 2019 Author Posted September 29, 2019 My favorite was Bim may his soul rest in peace.
Karger he/him Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 I love Spin. Brilliantly written character.
Snake Eyes Productions_YT he/him Posted October 1, 2019 Author Posted October 1, 2019 Yeah she really is Brandon is actually a brilliant author.
Snake Eyes Productions_YT he/him Posted October 10, 2019 Author Posted October 10, 2019 Yeah, Jorgen is great he is second for me behind Bim.
Use the Falchion Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 Morningtide! Quirk is a close second.
Aon Tia she/her Posted October 10, 2019 Posted October 10, 2019 I like rig too. It is cool that he realised that he does not want to be a pilot and Brandon showed that it is still cool. People who get the pin but quit are still very much respected and have a lot of options waiting for them!
Wander89 he/him Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 I wonder if there is a name for the overarching series or if it's just Skyward. What would anyone call it? What's your ideas?

The name needs to have "Cyto--" in it though.
Iarwainiel I she/her Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 I'm re-reading "Skyward" to prepare for the next book, and I've had some thoughts. Jorgen's family might be hiding a big secret. All the works of art (statues, murals, etc.) are going to be important and have meanings that help the Defiants figure things out. (Wish the Coppermind had a list of these; wish I had time to make that list...) The planet's name, Detritus, is going to be huge-ly meaningful. And now a wild theory: What if Doomslug is M-BOT's pilot, transmogrified somehow into a life form suited for decades in the caverns? (Hey, I said it was wild, not believeable, LOL!) Looking forward to "Starsign"!! 2
