I prefer Mistborn. The Final Empire was the first Brandon Sanderson book I ever read and so I’m biased toward Allomancy. The main reason I prefer it though is because of Kelsier; I love him he’s my favorite fictional character of all time and he elevated TFE to my favorite book of all time as well.

Facts Wayne carried Era 2 for me

Also I made the mistake of directly reading Alloy Of Law after The Hero Of Ages and it nearly made me quit the Cosmere lol

Eventhough it didn’t it still permanently tainted my whole Era 2 experience

Fun fact: My step-unclue gave me the whole Mistborn era 1 set. It took me 3 months before I decided to read it. Then 5 months later after that, I read era two: but I accidentally started with Shadows of self. So when I went back to Alloy of Law, I misread the person who (spoiler alert) dies in chapter 1 or in the prologue or whatever of Shadows of Self to be Wayne. So I spent all of book 1 of era 2 expecting Wayne to die. But (spoiler alert x2) I somehow guessed right- but at the wrong time. I dunno if im accidentally prophetic but yeah. Thats my story of my experience with Mistborn.
