Why was Sadees called the Sunmaker ?

Now i don't think this is of any great import to the current events on Roshar but I gotta say I loved the story of Sadees.

He sounds like a hybrid character , like a cross between Alexander the great and Timur the lame.

So my question is , how much do we know about him ? Are there any WoBs about him. Like why was he called the Sunmaker ?

How much of Roshar did he conquer ? Now it's clear he conquered Alethkar , Jah keved and Herdaz . But did he conquer both Tu bayla and triax or just one of them ?

We know he invaded Azir but was he successful in conquering all of the makabaki region , what about the kingdoms ringing the Purelake ?

Did he try to invade Shinovar or were the Mountains too formidable to cross ?

I'm guessing he didn't invade Iri or Rira , seems too far away to me .

Could it be that he conquered Thaylenah , that would explain how they are like half vorin , but I guess it's not true. The alethi never have a naval power. They say so much in oathbringer I think.

Could he have stumbled upon Urithiru ? Is he just a fringe character like Alendi in mistborn or does he have a greater influence in the future of the series ?

From the WoBs we know that.

He was not Vasher.

He actually is Dalinar's ancestor.

His sword was Oathbringer and is passed through quite a few hands before Dalinar got it.

He lived about 500 years ago.

He was the last Alethi to successfully claim the first Dahn until Gavilar.

No idea about the extent of his conquest except that he conquered Azir with overwhelming speed and he seems to have killed the emperor(remember the finger).

I doubt it.  I find it hard to believe that the Shin have ever been conquered.  They are too monolithic.  Conquest tends to blend cultures a bit.

Agreed about Iri and Rira.  In Oathbringer Fen says something along the lines of "I am not going to be the one who lets this country fall to you guys."  Implying that they were never conquered.

I doubt it.  That place is inaccessible also someone in his army would have wrote about it.
