Paalm Tree
I have a two friends whose birthdays are coming up and they are both huge Sanderfans. I want to get them some cosmere stuff, but I'm broke. Does anyone have any decent cheap ideas for birthday presents??
Snorkel
Voucher to buy more books?
TheGirlWhoLookedUp she/her
I once made a Mistborn bookmark for a cousin. I used card stock paper, drew the 8 original allomancy symbols on it, then covered it in tape. The tape was to keep the charcoal from smearing on her book. If you can draw, you could make a bunch of them relating to different cosmere books. Something like that would be really simple, but cool. Also if you look up fried marble, those are easy to make and look like Stormlight spheres.
Tesh
I've traced a lot of things off of a laptop. (I can't draw at all). I then outline them in gel an and color them in with a pen. You can make a lot of fun things with that.
Wander89 he/him
DIY gifts are a lot better! Maybe look on pinterest or something like that for ideas? I haven't done anything myself but I would LOVE a DIY present more than a store bought, potentially expensive make.
Snorkel
Depending on how much craft stuff costs where you live. I usually spend MORE if I try to buy craft materials. D: How about ... I saw this in a Brandon interview the other day ... a glowing bowl of spheres! A bowl, some LED lights of some kind, and some marbles. Snorkel
Those catseye marbles should make good spheres!
Singer she/her
Step one: Examine the Sanderson memes. Step two: Find the funniest and puniest ones to turn into an hilarious birthday card. Step three: Attach a delicious candy. Alternate plan: just give each of them a stick.
Paalm Tree
Thanks for all the ideas! I combined the fried marbles and the goblet of spheres and it ended up looking pretty cool. Both my friends really liked the stormlight, but I had to tell them not to try and eat the spheres

+Ed Venture
I’m pretty sure it’s because the picture is taller than it is wide, the 17th Shard tried it’s best to fit it in without messing up the webpage, sideways works the best. I think, I’m not Chaos or anything.
