I dont think so, if they "melt" in pure water or salt water then it would have been mentioned in the book. They are valued as servants and having a servant that melts would be a big deal.

The Kkell powers are cool, but it seems sort of like they ended up getting bits of them each mixed into each of the other magic systems. It is also really wierd because when Im reading it, I take parts and say that went into Mistborn, that to warbreaker, and so on. Also are Kkell powers hereditary?
IvoryRoad he/him Posted September 17, 2011 Posted September 17, 2011 My first name is Devin, so it has a certain appeal. I don't think this was part of the Cosmere. It feels too simplistic. And I can definitely tell how much better Brandon's gotten since writing it.
