The song "Do You Hear the People Sing" fits perfectly with the Parshendi. I can just imagine Venli singing this as the Highstorm approaches. The lyrics are below. I mean, he stops a fight, saves a guy from under a carraige, helps Fantine, saves Cosette, joins the revolution to protect Marius, then ultimately drags Marius away through the sewers. But, yeah, I suppose he could also be an Edgedancer.

I would bet Javert is the inspiration for Nale. But back to the original title of this post, thematically, Venli would fit better with a tragic arc like Éponine Thénardier or Fantine, even if Venli's arc does not entirely turn out tragic.

Hmm. I don't know about that. I see Venli as more of the revolutionary who got in over her head than the tragic spurned lover. Her plot in WoR was about convincing her people to bond Voidspren and fight back against the Alethi. That doesn't really sound like either Éponine or Fantine. I mean, Venli was happily married (before her plan got her husband killed). And you can't say that the fate of Enjolras and friends wasn't tragic. They died for their beliefs, just like the Parshendi who were taken over by the Fused. Edited May 20, 2019 by Rushu42 Typo 1
