please don't spoil any books or connections thanks

Hey, Chandleroo1, have a cookie! I would recommend just moving on to Wax and Wayne. Other than that, there's not much you need to know.

Welcome to the shard!

It's on Scadrial, 400 years after Hero of Ages. Starring Wax, and Wayne.

And by the way, may I say, you're the first one to accept a cookie from me in a while. Thank you!

*spits coffee out*

Now listen here. The climax of HoA is one of the better literary works I've read. Along with the OB climax. I still get goosebumps when I read it.

Ok, so you recommend after I finish reading the trilogy I just go straight to Alloy of Law?

Yes, do that. Then, before you read Oathbringer, read Warbreaker.

I would read A Secret History after the trilogy and before Wax and Wayne, maybe some would recommend it after Bands of Mourning though. Yes definitely Warbreaker before Oathbringer.

Oh and welcome!

Welp, I haven't read Warbreaker yet so I should get on that I supposed. (I've read OB already.) Nice to know I can learn some things from the welcoming threads.

You can learn things from every thread! Admittedly, sometimes it's a little buried, but it's there! After you're done with Warbreaker, reread Stormlight, there's some...shall we say...fun things.

Oh, don't worry. The spikes just alter the spiritual identity of the cookies, making them incredibly tasty. you have nothing to fear.

I can only echo what everyone else is saying in the thread but I'd like to say hi! I wish I was at the stage where I was reading the Cosmere in full for the first time but each re-read provides another secret anyway! Have fun and look out for the tiny details that keep popping up. What's your favourite so far? Mistborn or Stormlight?? Keep us posted!

My favorite so far is Stormlight but I'm only half way through the first Mistborn book so that could change very quickly.

Stormlights world is richer and it is truly Brandon at the top of his game. Mistborn is just a fun ride and Hero of Ages is the best ending to the first trilogy.
