SOREN

Pros: Goofy, surprisingly innocent, Not involved with dark magic, had an eye-opening experience of his own fragility

Cons: Kinda a manipulative jerk

CLAUDIA

Pros: Super loyal to family, also kinda innocent in her own way

Cons: The dark magic thing, plus I'm not sure whether using dark magic actually transforms a person (see Callum's trippy dream)

I can TOTALLY see that! For a while before I knew his name, I just referred to him as "Faux-Adolin". Also Viren has a surprisingly similar disposition to Straff Venture.

@The Forumlurker I've been thinking about Ezran's decisions too. Thoughts below.

I have a hunch that Pip, King Harrow's bird, will be an incredible resource to Ezran, and likely a thorn in Viren's side.  Some theorize that Pip is actually king Harrow (because the snake that could be used to swap bodies), but regardless, Pip has likely been privy to all sorts of politicking.
