Cosmere Chronology

How much do we know about the chronological order of cosmere stories relative to each other? Obviously Stormlight takes place after Warbreaker; I've also heard that Stormlight takes place somewhere in between Era 1 and Era 2 of Mistborn -- is that true? And where does Elantris fit into everything?

Elantris, Hope of Elantris and Emperors Soul are all before Era1.  Way of Kings and Allow of Law are fairly close together.  Sixth of the Dusk is by far the latest story, and would fit around the time of Era 4 Mistborn.  Dragonsteel will be the earliest, as it will cover the events of the Shattering itself.

Interesting...it puts  Warbreaker after Mistborn Era 1. Is there a specific reason for that, or just somebody's best guess?

Brandon has said Warbreaker takes place between Era 1 and Stormlight Archive 1-5

It's a whole lot of diligent stacking up of various WoB's into a timeline (by people better than me), and some dates are more definitive than others. We know that SA started off "just before the Alloy of Law era"  and there were 300 years between Era1 and Era2. We also know that "Elantris, Mistborn, Warbreaker and Way of Kings all happen chronologically", and that "Way of Kings and Alloy of Law are pretty close to one another but Elantris is fairly far before them" And we know that Alloy of Law happens after SA book 5, though Brandon says hasnt definitely worked out the chronology for that one.  [references from the thread @RShara posted #1 #2 #3]
