Eluvianii he/him Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 This isn't a last-three exclusive forum, is it? If so please tell me but, I'm in that kind of state when you just HAVE to say something. I just finished The Great Hunt and it was great but chapter 37, What Might Be, was, just... wow. Like, that was probably the best chapter I've read in a book. Can I expect more things like this later? Because I've heard it just gets better, especially after book 10 or something like that. I started because I wanted a big epic and it's delivering but the spiritual themes seem to be the strong point and I'm loving that. Sorry if this was a pointless post but I needed to say something.
Wyndlerunner he/him Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 WoT only gets better from here on! (of course books 8-10 are pretty slow and spread thin at times).
Taverenesque he/him Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Yes, you'll especially like book 4. You're not alone in loving that chapter. "I win again Lews Therin" is a fantastic line from it and should be a meme by now.
Not-So-Logicalspren he/him Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 IMO the rest of the series is definitely fantastic, but there’s not much that can contend with that chapter. Definitely one of the best chapters in all literature!
hawkedup Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 It only gets better! Yes, the action does plateau a bit but every single book has something to equal or surpass what you’ve read so far.
