Something grabbed Bel’s robes from behind and threw her into the air. The giant had somehow snuck up on her, despite its massive bulk and weight.

Its helm made eye contact with her, in that brief moment when she hung in air as it released her. Those eyes burned. Tongues of psychic flame literally flickered across the ceramite of the helm. But there was also a passion to the blank lenses, somehow. Those eyes were not filled with conviction or faith. Nothing holy was beyond those lenses. Only madness.

The moment passed as the giant clenched its gauntlet, and beam of light blasted Bel through the roof of the tavern.

Bel was thrown through the air, above the dense fog that had covered the city. She saw the stars before plummeting back down to the earth. She moved her shields to her feet as she landed. Reinforcing her legs and preventing the damage from going further than them with well placed barriers. She hit the ground with barely a scratch as the pavement beneath her cracked and cratered. She looked up, feeling no pain, no fear, nothing. Bright blue aonic investiture pulsed off of her as she walked towards the giant, entering a chayshan dance, her form began to blur with the speed she was moving before her foot snaked out, kicking up at the giant's stomach, sending a concussive blast towards it at the same time.

Alson ran forward, but was knocked back by the concussive blast. He was thrown against the tavern wall.

"Bel! Listen to me! You have to remember what matters! Think for a second! Remember Sebastian! he wouldn't have wanted you to lose control like this! Syndicate is still alive for harmony's sake! I can't kill him without you!" Alson ran towards her again. This time her Aons glowed a little duller, changing colour from a brilliant and vibrant blue to a darker shade.

The space marine flew through the wall with a crash. It fell into a roll as it hit the road, coming up on its feet. Pentagramic symbols slowly faded from its undamaged armor, having absorbed the aonic energy of the blast.

The giant stood up fully and raised a hand. The boxy shape shape attached to its hand suddenly roared to life, firing a hailstorm of light into the tavern. The bullets tore through the wooden walls, flying towards Bel.

"They are organizations," Said Nuemark, turning toward Tel.

“Organizations, eh?” Tels said diving out of the way of the bullets raining down from the giant that had just stepped into the room. “And what would their business be? If it includes money, I wouldn’t be opposed to hirement.”

Nuemark did not hesitate to help recruit. "They can be quite lucrative, these organizations. Ghostbloods are...well, hired lances, if you catch my meaning. We are one of the best, see, we have a fine sense of comradary and when we do a big job, near everyone participates in the spoils." Said Nuemark, nodding as he spoke, releasing his shardblade.

Maxwell, realizing he couldn't feel his arm looked at it. As it turns out, bone was jutting out of his elbow. "Oh, that's an explanation." Without saying another word he started looking for a hospital.

Tels grinned. "Where to?" he asked.

Malu called after him. "I can heal that, you know? If you want."

Nuemark smiled back. "It is dangerous out on the streets right now, but there is this nice little recruitment office down in the ghostblood side of town that I could take you to. They let you sign away your soul to them there and everything!"

The bodyguard spoke up again. "Your best bet is Oasis. That office will let you travel there through glass technology."

The bullets hit Bel and were rebuffed by the Edo shielding on her robes. She walked through the maelstrom of bullets without a single care. All she felt was the sensation of tranquility wash over her.

One bullet got through. It hit her shoulder, she didn't even notice, the pain minuscule in comparison the the calm.

Bel looked at the creature she was facing. The opponent that wanted to ruin her calmness, who wanted her pain to come back. The calm makes it go away, why resist? She heard a voice, Alson, desperately pleading to her. The Aons faded more.

Light shone from Bel's fingers. That had never happened before. It was bright, it left trails when she moved them.

Aons. Since when could I draw them?

Without thinking she drew one, testing her newfound power. Working fast, she drew many overlapping lines that joined in a square that surrounded four lines in the centre.

Aon Sheo, Death.

The Mailman, after a long hard day of betraying his friends, was looking for a drink. So he walked into the tavern and was surprised to see how banged up the place was. "What happened here?" He asked to no one in particular.

Tels gave an evil grin as he approached the Mailman. Dozens of ribbons of sand whirled around him, enough to create a small sandstorm around himself. Suddenly, he shot out all of them towards the Mailman, all aimed for vital organs, or other killing spots.

Another sandmaster. Interesting. Ark grinned, purple crystal beginning to cover the ground around him. If it hit the mailman, he would be trapped.

"Tiiyu, Spark him... now." Li TaiRu said fixing a metal bracer to his arm and painting a stamp.

"Sparking now." The glowing glass sphere responded

In his last moments. The Light from a ruby sphere in The Mailman's pocket became erratic. Flowing in tendrils inside It's glass casing each quivering in response to a voice speaking though it.

"Did you truly, think you would be able to do this without consequence? Or perhaps, did simply forget what happens to traitors?"

Tels barked a nervous laugh. He had always practiced these killing blows with his ribbons before, but actually using them... this was truly different.
