@mike26 he/him Posted January 8, 2019 Posted January 8, 2019 Hello! I just recently joined this site, and I have become a Cosmere fan over the past year. My sister recommended Mistborn last summer when I needed a new book to read. At one point I had a copy of it but never actually started reading. It easily became one of my favorite books/series. The characters, world building, and story were phenomenal and I was eager to read more of Brandon Sanderson's work. I then began reading Stormlight after the Hero of Ages, and had the first two done in a couple months. Before Oathbringer, I read Secret History for Mistborn, Mistborn Era 2, and the first book of the Wheel of Time. I finally finished Oathbringer and I already can't wait for book four (and Wax and Wayne 4)! At this point, I haven't read either Warbreaker or Elantris, but I'm nearly ready to start! 2

@mike26 he/him Posted January 8, 2019 Author Posted January 8, 2019 Honestly, I think Sazed is my current favorite Sanderson character so far, with Elend, Jasnah, and Dalinar not too far away. He had an amazing character arc throughout the trilogy and he brought the characters together. 3

I can't agree with this more. His internal conflict about belief was so well written. It was never too over the top, but still expressed strong emotion as he struggled with himself. And the irony of him bringing so many religions to others, and yet not having one of his own! Just beautiful. 2

@mike26 he/him Posted January 11, 2019 Author Posted January 11, 2019 I don't think I've heard of it, I haven't been watching much lately (mostly because of reading more than I have in a while).
