Quantus he/him Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 I don't they were being hunted, mostly because they are still living right on top of Cultivation's Perpendicularity and being Id have thought "hunted" involve more running and hiding. Their origin story blames their own "belligerent" natures at the time rather than an outside force. Combine that with the fact that their language is directly rooted in the Dawnchants and shares grammar with both Shin and Singer languages, Id lean more toward the idea that theirs was something that happened prior to the racial falling out over the course of the desolation, likely closer to the original Ashyn migration when everyone was still friends. P.S. Interesting note: This WOB indicates that anyone with red Hair (and specifically Shallan) is at least distantly part Parshman, mostly by virtue of intermingling with the two main half-breed races (Horneater and Herdazian). 1
