My biggest pet peeve is how the classrooms haven’t changed since the 1900’s, which means we’re being taught in way to prepare to do factory work, which isn’t what they should be teaching us at this day and age. The best thing they can do is tear up the current system and basically start from scratch, but the problem with that is how much that would cost and this could take months, meaning students won’t be educated during that time. We’re basically stuck.

This is actually so true. Can't believe I didn't realize that before. No, actually I can believe i'd do that.

Yeah, the desks set out in rows is to prepare children for assembly lines and the letter-based grades are also used for factories workers to determine pay, that’s what the system was built to do because of the high demand of factory jobs at that time.

I've often wondered if it would be better to just reform the grades one at a time. Start with Kindergarten and every year reform the next grade up, instead of doing them all at once.

Previous students would miss out, but that's better and easier than doing it all at once.

True true… I think you’re onto something

I think so too 😂

Don't get me wrong, it'd still be super hard to do this, but it's still much easier and better overall.

And this is the reason why politics shouldn't affect the school system. If they didn't this would've happened age ago.

What level of government are you talking about here?

There're a few different levels that affect the school system.

Then, the next step is leading a group of seminary students to violently overthrow the bourgeoisie teachers.(guys trust, I’m no communist)

not just the seminary, but the whole school. WE WILL RISE!

I would say start at the top and move down. seniors need the reform the most.

the lack of reform isn't because of politics imo. it's just hard and costs a ton, and it's not like most of us can vote, so there's really not too much concern for us.
