Perpendicularities

Does a Shard's Intent alter the transition through a perpendicularity? Like would Odium's be rougher travel than, say, Devotion's? In Elantris the Pool (which is Devotion's perpendicularity I think, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that was nearly stated) whispers to Raoden of serenity. Is that just because of his perception of what it does, or is it because it's entirely of Devotion?

As far as we know the Perpendicularity's source doesn't affect in any way the transition.

Of course we don't have any truly pov from someone during the transition. But the perpendicularity itself just bends the Realms and allows someone to slip between them... It's not the perpendicularity itself to move people around

As far as the voice in Devotion's pool... It seems to be an imprint of Aona somehow... But I don't think that this is by any means normal. After all, perpendicularities were invented during the writing of Elantris. So the voice may actually predate the Perp.

Given that the bulk of their Investiture has gone wild on the Shadesmar side of Sel, Im curious if that was some echo from the Cognitive Realm.  Or a lure by something horrible and chaotic (I really want to post General Akbar right now...)
