Question

Does a copper cloud protect the user from other applications of investiture?

A copper cloud prevents a seeker from sensing the use of investiture in it's area.

Burning copper protects the allomancer from emotional allomancy.

Does a copper cloud provide protection against other uses of investiture? For example, does burning copper protect the allomancer from being soulcast? Does burning copper protect the allomancer from a leacher? Does burning copper interfere with a blood sealer's ability to track you?

It should be able to block anything that the Aviar species that Kokerli is blocks, that's essentially a copper cloud.

And then is there a connection between Aviars, copperclouds, aluminum, and the yellow spren, life sense, seeking?

Brandon Sanderson [PENDING REVIEW]

Yeah, yeah all that, there are some relationships there.

Questioner [PENDING REVIEW]

So they all pretty much would affect each other?

Brandon Sanderson [PENDING REVIEW]

Ummm, yes, yes.

It's not going to offer any massive protections I think, but life sense, the detector fabrials, Bloodsealing's tracking... All that kind of stuff, and probably any mind reading or emotional manipulation.

I think coppercloud does provide protection. Of course not to the extent of protecting you from physical harm but from magic who basically try to alter/influence/track you. Maybe not complete protection(probably depends on the coppercloud strength) but be more resistant.

Like pointed out that people using active investiture is much more resistent to soulcasting. Coppercloud users are specifically much more resistant to soulcasting than standard active investiture considering that the whole point of the ability is to block stuff coming to you.

I suspect coppercloud is alot more useful than we would assume.

Yes, but it's not specific to copper.  Active usage of any power will make one more resistant to Soulcasting, as you're more Invested than normal.

beyond what was mentioned before about investiture interferign with investiture, we do know that Bronze can be used to detect other forms of investiture beyond just those native to Scadrial, so it would stand to reason that copper would offer protetction against them as well. I don't know that we have anything confirmed, though someone with a better handle on pulling up WoBs may be able to find something.

Yes, this is basically what I am asking. Besides any natural investiture interference, does copper allomancy provide protection against other type of investiture use?

Basically it is the flip side of bronze. If bronze can detect non-allomantic uses of investiture, can copper protect against other non-allomantic uses of investiture?
