Draginon he/him
I recently read the archive questions from JordanCon 2018 and one was Brandon giving a rough timeline of the order for Cosmere books with one of two books for the break between Stormlight 4 & 5. I decided to make a poll to see which you guys would rather see.
Steel Inquisitive he/him
I am very interested in Sel but... Nightblood/warbreacker still has important characters to the rest of the cosmere. Sooooo
Calderis he/him
I voted Elantris. I don't particularly care for the first one but Brandon has improved drastically and I'd like to see that world portrayed better. And most importantly. Quote Brandon Sanderson Elantris sequels The Emperor’s Soul is now two years old, so it is probably time to get back to Sel and do some more there. We should be releasing a trade paperback of Elantris in the next year or two, with revised (and new) maps and a better Ars Arcanum. (Read: an Ars Arcanum.) The full sequels will need to be finished before I can do the contemporary (1980s tech) Mistborn novels because of behind-the-scenes Cosmere bits, so I will do my best to find a place to squeeze these in. At the very least, I will write them following the end of Stormlight 5. So, these are distant, but not too distant. source No Era 3 until after those. Weltall
While I really want Nightblood (especially now that Brandon's said he wants to use it to start canonizing more elements of Aether of Night) I have to vote Elantris 2. There's so much potential on Sel and so many unanswered questions that if I got to chose which to see first, it would be that. I can wait a teeny bit longer for Warbreaker's sequel since that doesn't leave as much unresolved and we're getting bits and pieces of information out of Stormlight Archive that also scratches the Nalthian itch, as it were. And yeah, the sooner we get the complete Elantris trilogy the sooner Brandon can start working on MB Era 3 so between just wanting those books for their own sake and whatever Elantris can teach us in advance, I'd like to see Sel's remaining story first.
Draginon he/him
@Weltall & @Calderis Elantris 2 is the one I'd want most, heck I could see the Cosmere schedule go W&W4, Stormlight 4, Elantris 2, Stormlight 5, Elantris 3, Mistborn Era 3 and if I included non-Cosmere it could go W&W4, Stormlight 4, Skyward 3 (if he doesn't get to it before W&W4 he can do this while the finishing touches are being made on SA4 from Tor), Elantris 2, AG1 or Alcatraz (depending if Wells finishes figuring that out), Stormlight 5, Elantris 3 (during the finishing touches of SA5), Nightblood, Mistborn 3.1. I'd love to see Rithmatist 2 somewhere in there but it could be something to hold us over in between Era 3 books. Also since Elantris 2 is supposed to be a decade later it would've been nice if Brandon had written that for the 10th anniversary and then whenever E3 takes place after he could've written it at that time. Toaster Retribution he/him
I prefer Sel as world over Nalthis, but I want to see the story of Vasher, Vivenna and Nightblood pre-Stormlight. So its close, but I’d go Nightblood.
Leyrann
I'm actually unable to choose...
Fanghur Rahl he/him
I voted Elantris 2, because honestly, I’m not finding Warbreaker to be as enjoyable as the other series, at least so far. Please no one crucify me, but the Nalthisian magic system feels like something out of a bad fairytale to me...

I thought I read somewhere recently that if he didn’t start The Lost Metal by January, he was going to start SA4 on January 1 anyways. And he’d take a break partway through to write The Lost Metal. I can’t remember the source for that though...it was depending on how some of his YA novel writing went this fall. I still hope he starts Mistborn again soon. He'll try to get TLM done between Skyward and it, but if not it's getting pushed back a bit.

That would be nice though I'd imagine it'll be a book written in between a Stormlight Cycle 2 book since Brandon would still have to figure which story to tell, unless he tells both in a parallel story (that would be interesting to read a chapter showing how the Evil came followed by the returning team fixing the problem from the past chapter), and I'd think since Elantris 2 and Nightblood have been gestating longer he knows where those are going much better.
