Probably EBWI, just because it was my first RP.

~~~
I would have to say that writing Ash is fun because she's like me, but I love writing the entries for Adalyne. They push me to be a better writer.
RAFO... :ph34r:
Spoiler
In all seriousness, Connor x Adalyne is my favorite to write, because I have control over both characters. I'm not saying where it will go, though. It's obvious that one of them is falling for the other, but the other one... not so much.
So Adalyne all the way. :D I can see that; reading her is always interesting, and then also Condor.
Just Condor.
(I know it's a weird ship name. I'm not sorry.)
(Don’t be sorry.)
I’m just worried that everything will be too rushed. It takes time to fall in love, and they’ve only known each other for 3 days, tops.
Where did you get inspiration for Cosmere Character Roast Battle?
Great question! My friends and I teasingly roast each other all the time. One day, @Ishar and I started insulting some of the characters that the other person liked...
“Why do you like Adolin? He’s a terrible character, and screws up so many times without facing retribution. I mean, he’s just like...”
“Okay, he’s beautiful and amazing. You’re just jealous. And you’re not one to talk. How do you like Zane? Seriously...”
Additionally, another friend started reading The Way of Kings and said, “Hoid is the Roasting King. Like seriously.”
At that time, I had just finished Mistborn: Secret History, and thought of all the insults Hoid and Kelsier gave each other.
So it was decided: Cosmere Roasts.
Despite this, I was still stuck on one thing. How would they be presented? Just exchanging one-liners wouldn’t be efficient with the time differences.
I decided on raps. As an avid musician, I know that a lot of people despise rap music, and in many cases, I don’t blame them. But, raps are a fun way to add a beat to some random words. They’re fun to say out loud, too.
Finally, I just threw everything together on the one place I knew I would have enough Cosmere-knowledgeable people: the 17th Shard! And of course, I made it a tournament, because competition makes everything better. (Yes, I’m that person. Yes, I am ignoring your sighs of exasperation. Participation trophies are for the weak.)
So in conclusion, that is the extremely long story of how the Cosmere Character Roast Battle Tournament was brought about. If you read through all of that, I envy how good of a person you are, and your patience.
Spoiler
Real talk though, I just wanted to see some of the characters roasting each other, and though, “Better make it a competition! Let the vicious roasts flow through!” :P
How are you and Ishar doing lately?
Have you ever thought of or wanted to use the ninja emoji while not on the Shard?
Do you remember the sarchasmfiends? :P
I'm doing great! You would have to ask Ishar to know about him.
Yes, a lot, actually. That little look of suspense just can't be mirrored by Apple.
But of course, they're my spirit animals.
Spent an hour scrolling through memes on Instagram.
Not all potatoes are brown. That’s a potato stereotype, and frankly, the Yukon golden potatoes are furious about that.
1 hour ago, Silva said:
It’s a government conspiracy. Don’t worry about it.
1 hour ago, Silva said:
What's your favorite color?
Red! I feel like it has a lot of emotional depth and dimension.
1 hour ago, Silva said:
Do you believe color should be spelled colour?
Nope. Whatever is fastest to type is superior.
1 hour ago, Silva said:
Do you believe that grey is the proper spelling of the word?
Honestly? Depends on my mood.
1 hour ago, Silva said:
Theatre or theater?
Again, mood-dependent. Also a matter of formality.
1 hour ago, Silva said:
Are three-legged tables better than four-legged tables?
I mean, I wouldn’t call them better
2 hours ago, Silva said:
How about one-legged tables?
Depends. How unstable are they? There’s the wide-based ones, and then there are the sketchy ones...
2 hours ago, Silva said:
Seventeen?
Seventeen-legged tables? Let’s do it. B)
2 hours ago, Silva said:
17 or seventeen?
17. Less typing.
2 hours ago, Silva said:
Who, what, where, when, why, or how? Why?
Me, nothing, home, now, because global epidemics, and books. Social distancing.
2 hours ago, Silva said:
Did seven eat nine or did nine eat seven?
Seven ate (eight) nine because you need three square meals a day.
2 hours ago, Silva said:
Is the glass half full or half empty? Why?
Half full. Optimism.
2 hours ago, Silva said:
What is the glass halfway with anyways?
Best case scenario? Blood orange soda. Worst case scenario? My shattered hopes and dreams.
Ah, yes. The magic number of the Cosmere.
Hey, Ashspren!
What if no one actually dreams when they sleep, we just make up stuff when asked based on the power of suggestion mixed with peer pressure not to be the only dreamless people. And those who push it absurdly far and craft really elaborate lies are the most delusional, which is why psychiatrists ask us about our dreams to see if we're crazy.
Hi Archer! :D
Well then... um. I guess that's just a societal thing, then? And I would probably be deemed crazy? Granted, though, hearing about people's insane dreams definitely makes my day, so kudos to peer pressure.
I've genuinely never been so amused in my entire life
