chartreuse she/her
Hi everyone! Super excited to be here. I love Brandon Sanderson's work and, so far, I've read The Final Empire, The Well of Ascension, The Hero of Ages, Warbreaker, Elantris, and The Way of Kings. He's probably my favorite author of all time, haha.

Jehoiada he/him
Hello, have an upvote and what got you into the cosmere/Brandon's works?
chartreuse she/her
@Jehoiada I think I got tired of reading YA fantasy and literally googled "good adult fantasy books", then stumbled upon the original Mistborn trilogy haha...but I made it my goal to read the entire Cosmere collection when I met a really cool employee at a bookstore who recommended The Stormlight Archive and we talked for about 20 minutes. I felt like I was talking to someone I'd known for years, so I got The Way of Kings and became officially hooked lol
Niteshado he/him
Welcome!! Have an upvote! Around here we like to greet people by saying "My life to yours, my breath become yours" its something you should try! you say it first Seems you have read a good bit of brandon, is there any fantasy books by other authors you enjoy as well?
BitBitio he/him
Don't do it, don't give away your Breath!
CadCom he/him
There's nothing wrong with giving away your breath. It can help a returned survive one week longer, or it can help grant someone else greater powers. I just reccommend to not give it away for free. Then you get nothing from it, and you become a drab.

CadCom he/him
That's tempting... Where do you usually frequent on the shard? I'll head over there, and check out your posts to see if I think one follow is worth giving my breath away to you, and if I so choose, I will give you my breath over there.
chartreuse she/her
@Niteshado My life to yours, my breath become yours. One extra week of life for you! ;D Also Brandon's books are the first adult fantasy books I've enjoyed (I read A Game of Thrones but couldn't get into it unfortunately). I'm fairly new to the genre actually
CrazyRioter she/her
I couldn't get into A Game of Thrones either. Too depressing. I read fantasy to escape from depressing things.

You should check out (once your done with cosmere stuff) Brent weeks as well. The Lightbringer series is absolutely amazing, and The Night Angel trilogy is one of my favorite assassin books. chartreuse she/her
@Niteshado ahem, ma'am*** (I'm not offended don't even worry about it lolol) Yeah, I'm not sure what it is about George R.R. Martin. I feel like I just don't enjoy his particular writing style. He has great ideas and I respect him as an author but it's just not for me. I'll check out the Lightbringer series and Night Angel! I've been considering those for a while now. Literally the only assassin series I've read is Throne of Glass (YA fantasy haha). I've also been told that The Dresden Files are good too
