Mason Wheeler Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 I was in an office building, going down the hallway, looking for Brandon Sanderson's office. Eventually I found him, and asked him if I could interview him. He said sure, but not right now because he's really busy; could I come back in a couple hours? I was fine with that, but as I left, I remembered thinking, "that's strange, that didn't sound like his voice at all." But I didn't really follow up on that, because dream. A few hours later, it was time to go back for the interview, but just as I was heading out, the world got invaded by aliens. And then I woke up. Anyone else have weird dreams involving Brandon, the Cosmere or other fictitious settings of his, or the 17th Shard? 1
Ishar Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 So, while I was trying to get a friend to read Mistborn, because I was bored I texted her saying that she will dream of being hunted down by steel inquisitors (this is before she read the book, so I also gave a brief description) and then being killed by them. She responded with "If that actually happens I will give you mint oreos tomorrow." the next day I got mint oreos. 5

Wyndlerunner he/him Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 About 3 months before the Oathbringer cover was released, I had a dream that I found it at Wal-Mart. The weird part is, the cover in my dream was very near identical to the actual cover, and after OB came out, I found it at Wal-Mart...

More recently another friend joined the shard, and I convinced several others to read Mistborn (Although most stopped after the first book) and the Reckoners. 1

Currently, Ishar and I are the ones who are most up-to-date with the Cosmere, and the most Cosmere crazy... Also, I’m still mad about the mint Oreos. They are amazing, worthy of sacrifices to the Almighty himself.
