Or you could simply post a request for help of your own at the end of that thread. We will almost certainly help out if you wish to continue the hunt. Pagerunner he/him Posted September 23, 2018 Report Share Posted September 23, 2018 So, the Shardhunt (and prior Steelhunt) was something started for the 2013 Steelheart release tour, and continued (and concluded) on the 2014 Words of Radiance release tour. For the Steelheart release, Brandon hid codes in books on his tour. Entering a code would give you access to an exclusive part of the website, with some behind-the-scenes stuff. And as more codes were entered in total, new content would be unlocked for that secret section. In that context, the 17th Shard obtained a code which they carefully made available to forum members through a puzzle called the Shardhunt. You could use a Steelhunt code multiple times, for different people to get access, even though it wouldn't count towards unlocking any additional content after the first use. So the link you're looking for is the rules to the Shardhunt puzzle. Since the link to the rules works, I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the puzzle still works (although I haven't tried it) and you could get yourself the Steelhunt code. But there wouldn't be much point in it. Brandon changed up the format for the Words of Radiance tour, hiding codes for what was now called the Shardhunt. (I guess he didn't know the forum had used the name already.) The content wasn't hidden any longer (and everything unlocked on the Steelhunt was made public for everyone), and finding additional codes only served to unlock more content. If you look at the Shardhunt page on Brandon's site, you may notice that it looks like there's still one item left to come. But we did actually get that content; as people were wondering what the last item would be, Peter said that it would be the second half of the Alloy of Law annotations, which he needed to finish editing. They were eventually posted, chapters eleven through eighteen, but the Shardhunt page itself was never updated. Hope that helps.
