We know that Honorblades are made of Tanavastium, so if you lived on Scadrial and were to swallow and burn Tanavastium, would you gain the ability to Surgebind?

People born on Scadrial have an Identity tied to it and its magic. Odium would have to do certain things to make them able to use a magic he fuels. This makes me wonder what a non-Scadrian Allomancer such as Hoid would be capable of burning allomantically. He is connected enough to Honor and Cultivation to form a nahel bond and he is also a full mistborn. In theory he should be able to burn a shardblade and gain allomantic abilities in doing so. I don't think Hoid alone could do it. Like the last WoB @Weltall posted, The Shards themselves would have to do something to get their godmetals to work in allomancy/feruchemy.
