Spikes and Shadows

Has Brandon ever spoken about Kelsier's return to the physical realm? The body that he has seems to still have the scars on his arms but also has a spike in his eye. I am wondering if cognitive shadows can be spiked with hemalurgy or if they can be stabbed and then that spike used in a body to put the shadow into it. If that is the case, what does that mean for spren in the cognitive realm? I am looking for any and all theories and information.

This is just from healing. Those scars are part of who he is, so they would always come back, in much the same way Kaladin's Slave Brand will never go away.

Spren can be spiked. As for Cognitive Shadows, they aren't that different from Spren...

Yes, you could steal the Investiture of a spren. Any Investiture can be used in a spike if you know what you’re doing. It’s actually not that hard to use one on a spren.

Beyond that, no, Brandon hasn't elaborated yet. Hoping we learn more in The Lost Metal, but we might need to wait until Era 3, or Secret History 2.
