I often wonder what it was like for the people at the end of the Mistborn trilogy SPOILERS

After Sazed becomes Harmony after Vin and Elends deaths, and he restores everything to it's rightful state, what did they think?  How did they feel?  How long did it take them to adapt to new life and build up resources and organise themselves into a governing body?  I would have been terrified over the instant changes that took place.  Remember this world was on the threshold of destruction, one foot already in the door, with the other one stepping in as well.  none of these people would have ever seen green grass before, or sunlight or clouds, trees, stars, or anything else normal.  How long did it take the surving cast to get everything in order?  Were there other lesser conflicts by the nobility?  shifting power struggles?  More deaths?  Sazed may have put everything back in order, but no way was everything just going to be sunshine and rainbows right afterwords.  There were still alot of dead people out there, and many more hurting in various other areas I imagine.  What happened to all of them?  all the koloss dead and still living?  Were Vin and Elend buried somewhere in the earth?  placed in a Tomb?  Cremated?  Did Spook ever marry that cute girl?

Did you read all of Era 2?  I dont think that Sazed just put everything in order, he himself mentions that he made a paradise. And most of you questions are answer in Era 2 books. If you would remind you but I dont want to spoil it in case you did not read it.

Yeah, I remember that it was a 300 year time skip, but it's been a while since I read era 2, honestly.  Still I can't just see people walking outside their doors and being like, "Huh, ok then... who wants barbecue!~"

And Secret History will also shed some light on this (I know, again with this book)

Anyway Spook is mention in SH, marriage or anything is spoiler so only if you want to I can tell you below:

Spoiler

Yes he did marry her.

Vin and Elend have catacomd in Elendel.

Koloss have their camps and they mixed with normal people too so some people have koloss blood.

Power struggles not so much because Lord Mistborn (Spook) was beloved leader.

So basically peace and qiet, so not a lot of deaths.

No worries, I want that book, and all of Sanderson's non cosmere stuff as well, so you are fine :)  Thanks for the info.  Glad things settled down for everyone left alive at least.  I am definately going to go through all the cosmere books again as soon as I am finished with Acotar series, the witcher series, Poison study series, Throne of Glass series.

Yeah, what basically happened (per Era 2) is that Sazed took a page out of Preservation's book by setting up a single powerful individual who could provide stability during the early years. It seems to have worked out pretty well for all the survivors, who also got the benefit of having various genetic and physical impairments healed during the process when Sazed was modifying everyone's bodies to revert all the changes Rashek made a thousand years earlier. So for example, Cett was able to walk again per Word of Brandon. Sazed did this mass tinkering to give humanity the best chance of surviving. Of course, he later admits that maybe he made things too nice for the survivors but that's an Era 2 problem.

As mentioned, Secret History gives some more information on the topic whenever you read it. And all the essays in Arcanum Unbounded are essential reading for the would-be Cosmere scholar. Oh, for a chance to talk with Khriss for an hour and ask any questions we want...

Weltall’s answer covers pretty much everything, except for one super important thing that I probably consider to be even more important:

The Words of Founding.

Sazed left books that gave everyone a rundown of what’s happening and presumably advice on how to start over.

He also put the survivors together in one central location, rather than being spread around.

Keep in mind how Scadrial was just before the end, earthquakes, mountains of ash, no food, and eternal mist. After that, waking up to a world where everything grows green, and with the leadership provided by Spook and party, it would have been very easy to forge a new life.

Thats what I meant.  More the mind, not the body.  You wake up after knowing only that kind of life to then see things you never saw before, what is your reaction it? wary caution? or lets party?

Probably optimistic work and party. Escaping a dying world can do wonders for morale.

Some are gonna be cautious, but you know that there will be those that explore and marvel at what's new.

Spook having read Sazed's Note certainly helps. Much like after the death of TLR, the common people were probably happy to see someone who seemed like they were in control of the situation, given how very not-in-control they were after Ruin escaped.
