cem he/him
I don't know if this has been talked about somewhere else. I searched, and couldn't find anything. So, I was rereading the Lhan interlude and realized something: I-12: LhanShe walked with him, and each step revealed her reluctance. Or perhaps confusion. They passed into the Circle of Memories, a round room with ten lamps on the walls, one for each of the ancient Epoch Kingdoms. An eleventh lamp represented the Tranquiline Halls, and a large ceremonial keyhole set into the wall represented the need for ardents to ignore borders, and look only at the hearts of men . . . or something like that. He wasn’t sure, honestly.Outside the Circle of Memories, they entered one of the covered walkways between monastery buildings, a light rain sprinkling the rooftops. The last leg of the walkways, the sunwalk, gave a wonderful view of Kholinar—at least on a clear day. Even today, Lhan could see much of the city, as both the temple and the high palace occupied a flat-topped hill. Ch86: Patterns of LightA circular room. A thing on one side that adapted to fit different Shardblades. Depictions of Knights on the floor, glowing with Stormlight, pointing at a tower city, just as the myths described. Ten lamps on the walls. The lock hung over what she thought was a depiction of Natanatan, the kingdom of the Shattered Plains. It—Ten lamps. With gems in them. Latticework of metal enclosing each one. So yes, Kholinar Palace and the Vorin temple are built right on top of the Kholinar Oathgate. Ryshadium she/her
Here's the quote from the book: Now that he saw those pillars from this perspective, he recognized that there was one of them in Kholinar. It made up the dais upon which the palace and royal temple had been built. Shallan suspected that Jasnah had tried to open the Oathgate there; the woman’s notes said that Oathgates to each of the cities were locked tight. Only the one in the Shattered Plains had been left open. Sanderson, Brandon (2014-03-04). Words of Radiance (Stormlight Archive, The) (pp. 1069-1070). Tom Doherty Associates. Kindle Edition. I wonder which other ones Jasnah tried to open. With the ability to transport herself, she could have been to all of them.

Ryshadium she/her
Do we know which cities had oath gates? I can't remember if that information is listed or not.
hoser he/him
Given that there are ten, I imagine it is the capitals of the Silver kingdoms: Kholinar, Vedenar, Kharbranth, ... Maybe the map of the Silver Kingdoms from tWoK would show them.
cem he/him
Do we know which cities had oath gates? I can't remember if that information is listed or not. Let's see. Ten Gates for ten cities of ten Silver Kingdoms: Natanatan: Stormseat Alethela: Kholinar Thalath: Likely Thaylen City (see: http://brandonsanderson.com/beta/wp-content/gallery/stormlight-1-maps-and-illustrations/twok_map-6_four_cities-webres.jpg) Rishir: no idea Valhav: Likely Vedenar Makabakam: Likely Sesemalex Dar Sela Tales: no idea Iri: Rall Ellorim and Kasitor are the biggest cities. Possibly one of them. Shin Kak Nish: no idea. Aimia: no idea Akinah probably has an Oathgate too, but I don't think we've been told where the city is. It isn't likely to be in Shinovar or Aimia though. According to The Way of Kings, there is also another in Abamabar . Though again we don't know where that is. Ryshadium she/her
I figured it was the cities of the Silver Kingdoms, but wasn't sure how those related to "current" cities - thanks for the clear listing. The Silver Kingdoms map doesn't show any cities. I suppose it may not be relevant. Akinah is one of the cities Kabsal draws in WoK, right?
