Dalinar? Navani was kind of his sister at one point.

Good rationale, but not the bright Dalinar.

1. This character is said to be clever.

2. This character was tricked anyway.

3. This character has 2 siblings.

4. This character spoke with royalty about architecture.

5. This character traded places with that royalty.

Yay! :D And I mean it, that was a great one! I had no idea with clue 3 but the penny dropped a while after clue 5.

Sadly I got nothing, whoever has a nice idea for a round, go ahead! :)

oooo, Empress Kurshina?

Not ol' Collateral Damage Kurshina.

  1. This character is mentioned once and only once.
  2. This character might have been a slave, but perhaps not.

Well... hmmm... In The Well of Ascension, there is a scene in which Sazed helps a group of refugees. One of those is a woman who lost her children during the journey. All but one, a single infant who got very ill and is probably dying in her arms. Sazed tries to help without being able to do much. He thinks how any of his knowledge could be of any consolation to this woman. She is never mentioned again.

So.. her?

Neither Sazed's failure in the face of impossible odds, nor Kaladin's.
Not Kurshina.

  1. This character is mentioned once and only once.
  2. This character might have been a slave, but perhaps not.
  3. This character performed a great feat reminiscent of a real-life accomplishment.

Rushur Kris? (The master fabrial maker that Navani was so angry not to have time for and who bored Aesudan. And yes, I had to look up the name.)

No worries, this one's more of an exercise in research than memory, I think. Not Rushur Kris, though.
Not the anonymous mother.
Not Nalma.
Not Kurshina.

  4. A PoV character is very proud of this character's work, but it does not impress their companion.

I'd say that one is worthless without the other,  but that might just be me almost always checking facts before posting due to my stormingly bad memory. ^_^

Anyway Oolelen? Stumbeld over him when rereading Pai's chapter.

Oolelen! Correct. I'm on my way through WoR again, and when I passed that bit I thought: "Storms, that's an obscure one." Lhan himself would be difficult enough.

Yes, that one was hard! I might not have found the time but my 2yr old is sick and just wants to cuddle, sleep and drink. So I basicly just sit in bed with her, having not much to do but reading. (Might be the reason for my first guess, but she's doing much better this morning ^_^)

Anyway, great one! It was nice to really get into these clues! :D

Here's an easier one for everybody to join in and not only us nutjobs. :)

1. This character is married.

That was exquisitely obscure, bravo!
