It takes me forever to choose a book series to read. I lucked out and found Wheel of Time right before I left for Iraq so that took up a bit of time. That was my eventual introduction to Mr Sanderson. Fortunately I literally tripped over another of his books since finishing WOT. Unfortunately it was The Rithmatist and now I’m addicted and there doesent seem to be a sequel. I’m not a Native American. I know nothing of Southern or Central America. I would however, like to offer my services to Mr Sanderson as a researcher into whatever the hell he needs to finish the sequel and possibly write a third, forth, fifth, etc. Thank you

The Rithmatist is a great book. I loved it, and agree anything to help it would be great.

Welcome!  I'd recommend diving into the Cosmere while you wait for a Rithmatist sequel!  The Mistborn trilogy is complete, so no waiting for the next book   Well, there's now a second Mistborn series in progress, which is also very good, but there will be a short wait for that to be complete.

 

Also, don't eat the cookies or give away your breath.  It's probably spoilers for me to explain what that's about though :/

There is nothing wrong with saying the words or eating cookies, but you would probably want to join the DA right after. If you don't and want to work against them, you are on your own. The LA don't function very well. I would say that the Ghostbloods are a good pick if you want to stay neutral. Just some up-to-date news.
