Brandon Sanderson Eshonai is the flashback character--but she is dead in the present. I've warned people multiple times that we WILL have flashbacks to the viewpoints of characters who have died. OB Spoiler Spoiler The current Singers don't become Fused. The Fused are turned by the ancient Singers by Odium's interception. They are always the same, they don't gain new members. By the way, assuming Odium wants to create new Fused (and that this is actually possible). Eshonai will be' last in his list, she exibit a Strong Honor's sense and she rejected the Form of Power. Of course this without considerate the Ulim's statement of her be' beyond Odium's reach (the Beyond) 3
