make it my lifelong goal to mate with as many females as I physically can.

B-but that's already our biological goal!

But that's a whole 'nother story, regardless.

what a dramatic way for everyone to discover Shallan's 2nd radiant ability (healing)

Sanderson doesn't play :)

*edit* I make this assumption based on my belief that Shallan has an honorblade.

So she has an honorblade with Growth/Regrowth on it in addition to her own powers?!?!

Wow. Stunning turn of events. Bravo.

Well I am glad that I know it was only the first half of chapter 7.  Thanks for that Peter, otherwise I was going to skip straight to chapter 11.

I believe she has Shallash's honorblade (transformation) and her abilities are lightweaving and healing. I am just making huge estimations as i believe Jasnah cant die. She is too important to the story.

Let her go. The pain will pass in time. She is important, but everything she brings to the story could be brought another way.

Well, maybe you're correct. Or maybe it's all in the context. Or maybe we're all tiny insignificant beings lost in a very large universe... Anyway, where was I? Ah, reverse logic. Or reverse-reverse logic? Hm :D

Also, I'm a she (;

MAJOR SPOILER:

Ha! Hahahahahahha!! I was right! I have no idea how, but Jasnah is aliiiiiiiiive!!!!

Major Spolier

My guess is that - intentionally or not - she triggered her second radiant ability or transportation. If transportation also relies on shadesmar, and we've seen she's pretty proficient there already, it's not such a leap to imagine she was able to make an emergency exit to someplace she could get the urgent help she needed to survive. Not sure what took her so long to get back. But I was calling her alive from the moment of her death, because there's no way Brandon would have included the bit about Shallon not running into her body if it weren't significant. Of course, now that I've said that, he'll use that expectation against me in the future....

If you mean your post on the first page of this thread, I would imagine because you were announcing big plot points like Jasnah being "killed" but really still alive before the book was even released. Granted, it was just your assumption based on the review but that's my best guess for the downotes.

It was a non spoiler review that I mentioned, also the thread was about her alleged death...

I'm not saying you deserved the downotes ;) just giving my opinion on why people might have downvoted you (supported by some of the posts that immediately followed yours).

I will say, even though it was a thread about spoiler material, to that point no one had mentioned Jasnah, deaths, or any direct spoiler material. They just gave links. There was no ***Spoiler*** tag at the top of the thread so anyone that came into the thread to see what it was about could have gotten major spoilers from your comment by just browsing through. You were just theorizing but your post heavily implied that someone died in chapter seven, or seemed to die.
