Quickbronze he/him Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Any question ever asked to Brandon will eventually be known. How do I know this? Well, if you ask Brandon a question, he will either answer it or RAFO you. A straight answer is, obviously, an answer to your question, and a RAFO tells you that the question will be addressed sometime in the future.
Pagerunner he/him Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 A mysterious character introduced in Brandon's final Wheel of Time books. She is quite a conundrum to theorizers, and even though Brandon answers questions about her with RAFOs, there is nothing further that he will reveal about her, and no more books to be written. She's a question that will not be answered.

Pagerunner he/him Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 It's an actual RAFO. The phrase these days is more of a "no comment."
Quickbronze he/him Posted November 28, 2017 Author Posted November 28, 2017 *Sigh* Welp there goes that
Omniforce he/him Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Don't worry about it. The reason we don't know about Nakomi is that the original author of WoT specifically wanted the series to be open ended. He never intended to explain everything, he left it up to the fans to figure it out for themselves. Your original idea is still mostly right. We might not get every answer, but we'll certainly get enough to figure out the rest.

Herowannabe he/him Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 The coppermind entry for RAFO pretty much sums it up. Including this line at the end of the entry: Quote RAFO can also be used as a response to questions that are meant to be discussed by fans or ones that will never be answered.
