The Invested Beard
So I was perusing Arcanum (cause I can do that now huzzah!) and found this tidbit: Question How many different non-human immortals are there on Roshar? Brandon Sanderson Wow, very specific. Most of the Aimians count. They're both small races, but there are enough of them that there are dozens of each that count as immortal, and they're non-human. The two living Shards, I would say count as non-human immortals, and most spren count as non-human immortals. So there's a ton. So my question is this. If you look at the bold I've added, the question is specifically asking about immortal beings on the planet of Roshar, not in the Rosharan system. Since Odium is known to be imprisoned off planet, would that mean the mention of two other living shards mean that we are talking about Cultivation and yet another third unknown shard? Admittedly, this could all come down to the semantics of the question and Brandon was referring to Odium and the entire Rosharan system. If not though.... Arcanum Unbounded Spoilers: Spoiler ROSHAR (which—characteristic of the dominant confidence of its people—is the name of a planet, a system, and the main continent on the planet) is a busy place. Sanderson, Brandon. Arcanum Unbounded: The Cosmere Collection (p. 535). Tom Doherty Associates. Kindle Edition. One would seem to denote on a planet, one in a system.

I think that very much does for the questioner, but I think Brandon could consider this a case of specific, but not quite specific enough, and take advantage of an "unreliable narrator" and use the broader definition. It's very Aes Sedai and I think that would appeal to Brandon. Edited November 8, 2017 by Fifth of Daybreak
ParadoxicalZen he/him
I would say Brandon interpreted that as the system and not the planet. Lets not forget, that if the questioner doesn't really specify and kind of expects Brandon to make the distinction, then more often than not he'll probably assume otherwise (cause of timing, line etc., not to mention wiggle room). Nor the fact that we've had via WoB that only 3 Shards are present in the Rosharan area What is the Arcanum you speak of @The Invested Beard? I'm intrigued
