Of course adolin is investigating Sadeas murder. 

Ok actual thoughts: the chapter headings aren't giving me any more hints. For now I'll think it's still Jasnah. I also think Shallan is going to figure out Adolin first. 

Speaking of Adolin, I think somebody saw the murder. That's the only way it could be replicated. Who was that highlord anyway? What camp was he from? 

I think it's interesting about Hatham. 

I bet we'll see kaladins little bro again.

Alright, so I'm assuming this is the thread?

Just read the chapters thrice, back-to-back-to-back. I already need more. :)

I wonder what's going to happen with Adolin. I feel that he's going to reveal he killed Sadeas, and bad things will happen. The other man was probably killed in revenge or to frame the person who killed Sadeas.

Kaladin does not regress after punching Roshone, I was very afraid that we would have another book of Kaladin doing the wrong thing.

Dalinar pulls on other radiants...

Also, pretty much confirms something strange is going on with Renarin.

This week was SOOOOOO good!

ok, theory time.

So confirmed that spanreed requires Stormlight. Also, Kaladin is going to take it with him, so I guess the Connection between reeds just needs a stable place to be active, and not necessarily attuned to a specific physical location.

I like this new Laral.

I loved Syl talking about Kaladin's previous weapons, and the 4 genders lol

Hesina had a baby! Called it :D I also loved how she reacted to glow-Kal.

Lyn the scout sounds very familiar. Anyone got a bead on her?

So Bondsmiths... they tug on other radiants and boost their abilities? I wonder if this can also translate as a physical tugging, like will other radiants be subconsciously drawn to him? He also seems to have forged a minor bond (transient?) between Shallan and the Stormfather.

PARSHENI HAVE 4 GENDERS!!! OOOO! That just clicked! Spren had 4 genders... Parshendi had the additional malen and femalen!

Renarin seems to know things about the champion, but I could also read that as no one looking at him because they were all bug-eyed too. But he definitely senses/knows about Adolin and Sadeas. And Pattern was humming at the bathhouse situation too :)

So, copycat murder of some random guy from Sebarial's camp... first thought is maybe Ialai is trying to flush out a rat, or the Ghostbloods are messing around.

That shiver Shallan got on the back of her neck when Ranarin stood behind her. I think it is significant in some way, but it might just be a life-sense type of thing (like with Breaths).

Is it Hetham that is the only other Ryshadium rider that we know of?  I'm terrible with names.  If it is that strikes me as strange. I had assumed the Ryshadium ponies were so particular about picking their riders because there was some type of proto radiant thing going on or something.  I had at least assumed they were of Honor somehow, and their riders would be among the most honorable.

 

His price gouging during a time of disaster seems particularly despicable right now with everything going on, but even without the present backdrop to put it in focus it doesn't come across as any sort of honorable. 

 

Syl likes Laral.  About the only unexpected element of Kaladins POV today.

 

Didn't expect to see Rlain in Uruthiru.  I actually think the true listeners, those parshmen who can leave their "Gods" behind and find new forms free of Odium are going to be hugely important.

 

Speaking of Parshendi and the listeners, I thought Eshonai would come back to the good side.  And thought the something familiar Dalinar had seen on the eyes of Odiums champion went beyond "oh they wrrre red like maybe a parshendi voidbringer. 

 

Speaking of Odiums Champion I assume Renarin reacted to that so strangely because he is seeing the future too?  Same with how he reacts to Adolin at the end there.  Both seemed odd, but seemed like red herrings to me, thrown out there to lead us off target.  So what was up with him creeping up on Shallan and giving her the chills?  I have to think if he was bonded to anything besides a nahal bond type of spren The Stormfather would say something...  something weird is going on here, but i think its just a pile of red herring.

 

Things I'm most interested in seeing going forward.

1.  Kaladin going voidbringer hunting.  -  he kills only to protect.  Will he cold bloodedly murder voidbringers?  That would probably confirm they're all the way bad guys.  Or does he find a reason not to fight, like he insisted on not fighting on bridge runs?  That would probably confirm there is still more going on than we know.  Or do we get a middle ground where Kal only finds them as they're attacking a town or something?

2.  Renarin.  This post has been reported for attempting to skirt the rules is going on there?  Does he tell on Adolin.  Does he tell daddy anything about his visions?  Once it was confirmed he was the one scratching the countdown on the walls you would think they would all be eager to know what else he sees.  Although it may not jive with their whole religious and cultural upbring, belurrfs, and lifestyle.

3.  Adolin.  He's gotta break if he wants a spren bond of his own.  Shows signs of it already.  Does he turn himself in?  Elthokar pardons him?  I'm betting his daddy banishes him and kicks him out of Uruthiru.  The question is, when?
