Thanks everyone! @lyht I have only read 2 books. The way of kings and words of radiance. I like his style so am looking to read more. What would be a good one to read next? Preferably one that falls in line more with those?

Welcome @Kcorben! Well, if you want something that has references to SA you can read Warbreaker, which is relatively shorter. But if you want a longer series, Mistborn is pretty awesome as well.

@Sami I have been looking at mistborn. Looks good to me, but I figure most of his books are going to be great.

Yes, some of the characters in Warbreaker have shown up in Words of Radiance. However, personally I think you can't go wrong with any thing.

Just don't read 'Bear Snores On'. Horrible book compared to anything by Sanderson. Definitely wouldn't recommend it.
