So we know by WoB that Kelsier and Marsh have the opposite eyes spiked. I believe that this is because Kelsier used Marsh's missing spike as an anchor for his new body to the Physical Realm. Marsh was as Connected to Kelsier as any living person at the time, so it makes sense for Kell to use his spike as his "string" TBH this is more of a headcanon than a theory but I wanted to know what everyone thought about it

I think Marsh regained the missing spike and stuck it back into him.

I like the thinking, and you can't rule out some significance with Kelsier, but the WoB (which IS paraphrased) indicates that any theorizing may be looking too far into it?

That's not to say you shouldn't theorize I like raising the idea of linking Marsh's connection to Kelsier as a possible anchor

but this is so confusing. marsh has both eyes spiked. unless he gifted a spike to kelsier and then made another one to replace it?

I believe he's implied that if he wrote another one, it might not be in Scadrial's CR(letting Brandon explore more of the Cosmere) If it's another Kelsier story, who knows what'll happen.

This has been brought up before, and the only consensus I remember was that we can't rule out him having a fake spike like a certain other character did. Marsh seems to have improved, so it seems reasonable that he wouldn't kill someone solely for a spike.
