@Yata one last bit and I'll drop it unless there's a new thread. 

Rashek wasn't an allomancer prior to using the well. He gave himself Allomancy, but he was already a feruchemical. I never meant to imply the power would change him on its own. 

Yes Lerasium rewrites Allomancy into the sDNA without changing anything else because it's specifically doing that. For the power to wash away Allomancy in Kelsier, it wouldn't be targeting his Allomancy specifically. Which is why I said it would change him.

And, of course, the whole 'soul replaced with investiture thing' is an in world theory. I think that WoB is in one of the more recent events on the events tab.

I need to find the quote, but I know it is possible to reassemble a shard. Difficult, but possible.

Also, just to make sure I understand the original theory, you are suggesting something like how there are the groups of four metals (physical, mental, temporal, etc.) that there are groups of shards like this?
