So, we were talking, and I mentioned Mistborn, and he just started rapid-firing questions and making theories. He's looking at everything and trying to make sense of it all, and I can only imagine what sort of theories he's going to come up with once he's properly acquainted to the Cosmere. I happened to mention how you'd love him over here, and he suggested screenshotting the conversation to show you.

So, he's only barely into Mistborn one, and he's already making wild predictions, guessing stuff (I'm certain he'll figure out what's going on with Spook on the third book almost immediately), and trying to figure out exactly how the magic works. I honestly can't wait for him to catch up so we can begin to theorize properly.

I started Mistborn TFE a few months back. Read a few pages, stopped. A few weeks later, I tried again. For some reason I couldn't get into it.

Then one day I got through a the first two chapters... then the dam broke. I ate that book alive. 

Once you get into the universe, it never lets you go.
