(I think) 1337 is supposed to mean "LEET", as in elite. I'm guessing this just means that Hoid is elite or something.

Instant noodles can be associated with '1337' culture and nerd culture and we know Scadrial is going to develop its own nerd culture by Era 3. Therefore Hoid is in some way connected to 1337ness. Or since the full title is 'So l337 Hoid Can't Compete' it could just be a silly rhyme, of the type Hoid would probably love. xD 2
