No, Jake. No, you don't. You do not want a cookie. Or any other goodies offered to you. Do not accept the cookie, Jake. Don't do it.

Also, the Mistborn saga is my favorite.

Welcome to the forums! My favorite book would definitely be the Way of Kings, followed by Mistborn, followed by a Game of Thrones. I also started Brandon Sanderson when I was 10. Probably not the most appropriate reading material for fourth grade but whatever.

But how else would you learn about important things, such as sarcasm, puns, and trolling lighteyes?

Eh... I could see Martin definitely not being suitable for 10 year olds. Sanderson seems a little more appropriate though, aside from fantasy violence there aren't really any inappropriate moments that I can remember so far from the 3 1/2 books I've read. When I was 13,  I was reading Stephen King just because my mom didn't allow it. When I was younger she had a very 700 Club view of the world and thought everything was going to 'expose me to evil.'  We now watch Game of Thrones together on Sunday's when it's in season, and for her bday coming up on Friday I got her the new 20th anniversary illustrated hardcover edition of Game of Thrones.

What sort of title is that? Why would we be here if we didn't.....This is some plot to get everyone to reply isn't it?

Anyway, welcome to the Shard! Have an upvote and some candy!

Be careful with the candy... I'm feeling a little off since my Junior Mint.
