I have been reading since i was 4 years old, by myself and also i started reading Brandon Sandersons books since 10. My favorite series is the Reckoners series just so you know. My favorite book would definitely be the Way of Kings, followed by Mistborn, followed by a Game of Thrones. I also started Brandon Sanderson when I was 10. Sanderson seems a little more appropriate though, aside from fantasy violence there aren't really any inappropriate moments that I can remember so far from the 3 1/2 books I've read. When I was 13, I was reading Stephen King just because my mom didn't allow it. When I was younger she had a very 700 Club view of the world and thought everything was going to 'expose me to evil.' We now watch Game of Thrones together on Sunday's when it's in season, and for her bday coming up on Friday I got her the new 20th anniversary illustrated hardcover edition of Game of Thrones.
