Behold! the allomancy set has arrived. Now you metal junkies can represent too.

The links for each are located below the chart.

I had to guess on what a few might look like but overall they turned out well.

As always, I'm open to suggestions to improve them.

Nice. :)

I think Lerasium is green, though? I don't have the book with me at the moment.

Unfortunately, the only reference I could find in the book was Eland saying it was the wrong color when comparing it to Atium but he doesn't actually describe it.

Hmm...

Turns out I was lying! It's actually a goldish color, if the allomantic table is to be believed:

Wow, Awesomeness. You've gotta slow down on these. I can't decide which to use as my avatar, there's so many to choose from! (Don't really stop though ;) )

I've been thinking of getting an avatar forever. Thanks for saving me the work of cropping and dealing with the background! My only complaint is that it is sorta noisy/blurry (maybe because it's a jpeg and not a png?). I wonder if we could get the vector-art versions from InkThinker (or whoever ended up doing the endsheet) for ultra high res versions.

Every time I see my avatar I'm going to laugh now. It fits me wonderfully.

Yeah, that was how the original picture's resolution was. I didn't have the time to create vector maps for all the different symbols so just pulled them straight from the chart. If someone makes the vectors though I'd be happy to make new designs from scratch :)

The feruchemy alphabet proved to be a bit more of a challenge than allomancy. The thin lines made it difficult to stylize the glyphs themselves so I went with a simplistic approach to the design and they ended up turning out better than I expected.

I like those. A lot.

But I've had my cat for years now... If Windy couldn't stand simply changing the styling of his avatar, I don't think I stand a chance of changing mine completely.

Lol. "Termicatter" is new.

I've heard Catterminator and technically it's supposed to be a Catquisitor. ;)

As it turns out, an image search for a cat with a Hemalurgic spike piercing one of its eyes (not both, because you want to take advantage of the Tinsight) did not yield fruit. I compromised.

Posted

Maybe you could try actually making a Catquisitor (with one eye spike) and then take a picture of him/her?

Posted

No, I don't think so.

Somewhat of a boring answer, but at least you've just saved the life of a cat.

Also, on a completely unrelated note, today's philosophical conundrum: can you save a life by just deciding not to kill it?)

But..but....but...but...

Hey guys, look what I made (two months ago)!1400781_441587029278463_61306633_o.jpg

Just kidding, your stuff is really awesome aWESomeness! :D Seriously, I'd steal one for my profile picture if I hadn't put so much effort into the one I made. I can safely say you're better at this than I am.

P.S. I tried putting this in the Gallery a while ago, but I guess it never got approved. Anyone know what's up with that?

Ta Da! No cats were harmed in the making of this catquisitor.

That's a bit freaky actually...

Inquisitors? Freaky? It's like metal objects aren't supposed to go there and it's freaky when they are! No way!

Approved? I didn't know that was a part of the process. I just uploaded them into the gallery and they were there. Maybe the system is different now than when you tried it.
