Fun questions

Question

Do any other Shardpools--perhaps ones belonging to dead Shards such as on Sel--accumulate power on a cyclical basis like Preservation's did?  Or was that effect unique to the prison used to trap Ruin?

Has anyone else ever gone around impersonating Hoid and pretending to be him?

WoB is that Hoid and Kelsier don't get along well, to the point that bringing them together would result in "murdering" occurring.  After Secret History I can understand why, but have they had any interactions with each other since then?

Can a Shardblade cut aluminum?  (And are the Shardblade training edge-liners made, at least partially, from aluminum?)

Why does aluminum act as a shield against mental allomancy, but not physical?  (ie. tinfoil hats work, but Coinshots and Lurchers can still Push and Pull things encased in it, as seen with the aluminum gun that Ranette made with a switch inside that can only be activated by Allomancy.)

Would a sufficiently knowledgeable Scadrian scholar name the metal that a Shardblade is comprised of "Tanavastium"?

Can Zahel suck Stormlight out of gems the same way Radiants and Szeth can?  If not, how does he feed on the local Investiture?

Majority of the questions belong rather to the "Ultimate List of Questions..." thread as we simply don't know.

Vindication is not made of aluminium. I'm not sure we have a WoB on things encased in aluminium.

Shardblade may cut Aluminium (from WoB)

Hard to say, spren are made by a mix of Honor and Cultivation's Investiture... Call them Tanavastium is an unfitting name. But you may call probably an alloy of Tanavastion and "Cultivation's Vessel's Name"ium.

About the other I think there are only theories

1. The Well of Ascension is cyclic because its power is used. After being used it takes 1024 years to reaccumulate. If no one used it, it would just remained there. I imagine if someone else managed to use the power of a shardpool, the power would take a certain amount of time to accumulate again.

Probably the right question is: Are the other Shardpool capable of temporary Ascension like the Well ?

I have a theory on this but it's all in what we will see on Roshar.

Every shardpool is just a separated system of a shard's power, so yes, I think every pool could be used in a manner similar to the Well. However, I think for most shardpools it would be harder since unlike the Well, they weren't created with that usage in mind.

I thought some spren predate Honor and Cultivation?

You're right. Bu IIRC Nahel bond spren are said to be partially of Honor and of Cultivation (in various percentages). Some spren are of Adonalsium, but there was a lot less of spren before H&C came to Roshar and Honor was Splintered.
